Mission Commission Associates (MCAs)

What is an MCA?

Mission Commission Associates (MCAs) are subscribed participants in the MC who make up the global MC community. MCAs are experienced (or emerging) missions leaders who have been nominated by existing MCAs, agreed to abide by the MC’s Code of Good Practice, and approved by the Executive Committee of the MC’s Global Leadership Council in consultation with the Executive Director. Usually, MCAs are:

  • Leaders of regional missions alliances, associations, or movements, with whom we work in close partnership.
  • Leaders of national missions alliances, associations, or movements, whom we also urge to relate to their existing regional body and national Evangelical Alliances (where they exist).
  • Leaders of other international missions networks, including those that focus on specific issues.
  • Leaders of international missions agencies or similar organisations.
  • Leaders of denominational missions networks, church missions departments, missions-oriented churches, and indigenous movements.
  • Leaders with special giftings and expertise of interest to missions (e.g. missionary carers, missions researchers, missions trainers, missions theorists and futurists, etc.).
